This release begins narrowing eeptools toward its durable purpose — a toolkit
for education administrative-records analysis — by deprecating convenience
functions that are now better served by base R or other packages, and by
retiring functions that have been deprecated for several releases. Deprecated
functions still work but emit a warning; they are scheduled for removal in 2.0.0,
at which point the arm and vcd dependencies will be dropped.
